So now the holidays are over, Svalbard Christmas was awesome, celebrating with good friends and cold weather.
In the days between cristmas and new years We had some stormy trips on the limit to when its possible to ride a bike at all. The emergency shelter made a sheltered place for hot drinks for the guests, while I looked out for polar bears in the storm. Slow way out, fast home! On the 30th the wind had calmed down, and we accutally reached Hiorthamn!
New Years we celebrated in a cabin, with friends, amazing northern lights, a snowstorm that provided us with perfect snow to roll in after trying out the wood fired sauna. But what cabin trip is perfect? None, the end was in my case a bit to quick with high fewer and a night at the hospital. Feeling much better now and count on running tours as normal again next week.
