On this trip we bike on “Burmaveien” an old gravel road in the mountain side towards the airport, which a long time ago was one of the most important roads of Longyearbyen. We will have a beautiful view over the landscape with our fjord, mountains and early settlements. There will be many opportunities to see signs of and hear about the history of Longyearbyen and the local flora and fauna. There will be many opportunities to take great pictures!
Fitness: Very little fitness required. If you can ride a bike, you can do this!
We equip you with helmets, googles and balaclavas. Dress for some physical activity and bring something warm to wear in case you get cold.
