So we are back on the Island, looking forwards to a summer with a lot of fat biking! Seems like we planned our holidays well, when we left there was a lot of snow and started to melt. Now the lower places are free of snow and our summer routes are ready for us! we will offer two tours this summer:
FatBike with beach biking: ca 4h 850 NOK/person
We follow an old road with a panorama view over isfjorden and longyearbyen, before we turn down to the beach. Here we bike along the beach in gravel, sand and rocks. We listen to the waves, see some birds and maybe seals. When it gets time to turn around we make a break, drink some hot drinks and have cookies before we return to Longyearbyen.
Flora / Geology tour with FatBike on road to Endalen: ca 4h 850 NOK /person
We start the tour in Longyearbyen, heading out in Adventdalen, on the way we stop to look at interesting plants and birds / geological formations . We follow the small gravel road in to endalen, where we have a look att Spitsbergens highest tree (!) and some beautiful flowers. In endalen we take a longer break, drink some hot drinks and have cookies before we return to Longyearbyen.
